Getting Free Parts in the API

To allow customers to try querying Octopart's supply data with Nexar API, we provide 100 free parts on signup with a personal email. With a business email, this rises to 1000 free parts. These can be found in the Evaluation app on your dashboard.

Any new applications will have a part limit of 0. When you upgrade to a self-serve or enterprise plan, you will be able to share your part limit across multiple applications.

If you have already signed up for a Nexar account with your personal email address and wish to switch to your business address, you can do so in the portal. 

Step 1) Using the sidebar on the left select "Plans"

Step 2) At the top, select "Billing"

Step 3) Click "Edit section"

Step 4) Change the top field "BILLING EMAIL" to your business address, then click "Save".
